AWESOME!
Having read the other review of this product, I was a little nervous when they arrived. Really cool looking bottles, nice and squishy. I decided to undertake my own testing of said product. I took all three bottles in the pack, and filled them all with water. I then proceeded to try to find a way to make them malfunction in some manner. The only way I could find to do it was to leave the cap loose or cause a thread skip (which inherently left the cap loose), other than that these things are watertight, even the one I caused the skip on holds fluid when properly sealed. One thing I did notice is the silicon portion of the unit extends all the way to the top of the harder ring to create a sealing ring, if that wasn't in the right spot I could see how they could leak at that point, but the bottle has a distorted shape when it's not put together right so if you pay attention, you shouldn't have problems. Highly Recommended!

Loved them, but slightly dissapointing
I was waiting in these bottles to come out and bought them as soon as they did. At first I was very happy with the bottles, they really are great...the ones that work anyway. I don't know why but it seems as though all of the bottles are not made the same. When you try tightening the top on some of them a bump on the nipple prevents it to do so properly and the top will either just keep spinning or pop off and create a total mess when you try to squeeze the air out. Though two bottles out of the 3 pack I received did work properly and you could tighten them as much as you want without a problem, I was still dissapointed due to my problems with the other one. I called Prince Lionheart and they replaced the one which had the problem quickly but the one they sent me did the same thing. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Prince Lionheart bottles....I just wish I could LOVE all of them the same. This flub with some of the bottles is frustrating to say the least. But I still reccomend the bottles that work correctly 5 out 5 stars.

Avent finally makes a leak-free BPA-free bottle!
For our first baby born in July '07, we used (and loved) the original Polycarbonate Avent bottles the first few months. Then the BPA paranoia overtook us, and we switched to Born Free bottles, which are made of honey-colored Polyether Sulphone (PES). The Born Free bottles worked well enough, but we hated the 2 extra complicated parts per bottle that we had to clean. For our second kid born in Sept '09, we wanted badly to switch back to Avent, but read poor reviews of the PES BPA-free Avent bottles (apparently they leaked for many users). Fortunately, right around that time, Avent introduced a second line of BPA-free bottles made of the cloudy Polypropylene (PPE), and initial reviews indicated that Avent fixed the leaks (by adding a simple removable collar between the bottle and nipple). After 1 month of using these new PPE Avent bottles, I can attest that they indeed don't leak, and I don't need to take special care or do any procedure to make them leak-free. They just don't leak. Yes, the newly added collar is an extra part to clean, but at least it's a simple part that's easy to clean. So for all you Avent fans out there, take heart! Avent fixed the leaks. Tip: the leaky PES honey-colored bottles come in yellow-colored boxes. The new leak-free PPE cloudy bottles come in blue-colored boxes. Buy the blue-colored boxes.

avant bottles leak, big headache
my son had no problems with the nipple or the shape of the bottle (holding it in his little hands). however, this bottle leaks and it's a nightmare to deal with. as another reviewer wrote, you turn it too much and it leaks, you turn it too little and it leaks.

i can't count the number of times the milk leaked from under the cap over his face, neck and clothing. in the middle of the night,it's even more of a headache. i wrote to avent about this problem and i'm sure they have received other complaints. they should have recalled these bottles...if the product does not work in the way it's supposed to, ie. feed your child in a clean, effective, safe manner, then it should not be on the market for people to purchase.

Nipple too bulky
Newborn nipple? Right! My baby choked and gagged on this nipple, and the milk ran down his face. He is doing slightly better on it now, and he is 4 months old. He preferrs the J&J Healthflow bottles which have a smaller nipple.

Best Baby Bottles and Teats.
I have some of these 4oz bottles, some 9oz bottles and some 11oz bottles. I also have used a variety of the teats from newborn through to sippy cup. I cannot fault any of them. I have never had any problem with leakages as another reviewer seems to have had. It should also be noted that each baby is different and there are bound to be preferences that they and the mother will have. My little guy was big at birth and these wider teats were just perfect for him. In my opinion these are without doubt the best make of bottle and teat available. My own personal favourite is the Avent adjustable flow teat without which I would never have got any sleep from 2 months through to starting solids. I also have the Avent IQ24 Steamer and it is fantastic too. Highly recommended.

Not tall enough! Zero stars.
A Dr Brown's 9oz bottle with nipple and cap is 10" tall. And isn't that a Dr Brown's bottle in the photo? Why is this "tall cooler" only 9" tall? A bottle won't fit in it unless I pack it with the flat bottle cap (not with the nipple & cap as shown) and bring all the vent and nipple assemblies with me in a different pack. Ridiculous. (JL Childress isn't alone among manufacturers--none of these so-called bottle coolers are tall enough. I don't get it.)

This bag works well, but I just wish it were a little bigger. I use Avent bottles so it's a pretty tight squeeze with 2 bottles and the ice pack in there. A little more space on the inside would be great!

Great Bottle
I bought this bottle when I was pregnant with my now 7 month old son. I purchased them because they were BPA free and they were suppose to be good for a baby who is both breast fed and bottle fed. I know every baby is different, but we had no problems transitioning from bottle to breast. He took both just fine.

Two more things that we like: 1) The Gerber Nuk bottle has never leaked on us. 2) We also like the round disc that is included with the bottle. I can't find their reason for including it..but we use it to shake the formula up. It works well to mix the formula and it keeps the formula out of the nipple. Before we used it, formula would sometimes clump up in the nipple, thus not fully mixing. I use the bottles with liners when we are out an about (so we don't have to have more than one bottle in the diaper bag). Every time I use it I wish it had that disc thing!

Now that I am not producing enough milk, we have gone exclusively to the bottle and I needed to buy some more. I thought about trying new bottles, but ultimately decided that there was no reason to mess with a good thing.I hope this has helped!

Finally a bottle I can work with!
After trying out the Playtex Nursers, Playtex Vent Air, Avent and Soothie, Soothie definately comes out on top.

While the Playtex bottles were great because they eliminated the bubbles in the formula while drinking, it was a bit of a pain to measure formula before putting it in the bottle with the liners and our son was not a fan of the nipples for the Vent Air.

Avent nipples were too hard and while he'd still drink from the nipple, it took a lot of coaxing for him to do so. Not to mention that Avent is quite an investment in a baby bottle system.

We tried the Soothie pacifier when my son would spit out the Mams and other similar shaped pacifiers. With the Soothie, he just sucked it right in and loves it! It just makes sense. If he loved the pacifier so much we should have no problem with the bottles. We love these bottles because they work for our son and the price is fantastic compared to the Playtex Nursers, Vent Air and Avent.

I gave it 4 stars because the bottles are quite large in circumference and you have to be sure when there is only a little formula in the bottle that the nipple is completely full or baby will be sucking on air.

Great Bottle for infants who love the soothie pacifier...
My son loves the soothie pacifier, so when I saw these online I had to try them out. The starter set is great. First the nipple is just like the pacifier which I could not believe. The first time we tried during feeding he did not have any trouble getting the formula out. The nipple was not to fast or slow. Another great feature is the fact that the tops fit on the bottom of these bottles so you won't forget them at a resturant or just misplace them in the house. ALSO the formula/snack containers also fit on the bottle - then the top of the bottle attachs to the bottle of the container. We have not tried the stage two nipples at this point.

BETTER THAN AVENT!
When I registered for items for my baby, I, like the rest of the country, was 'sucked in' to the Avent bottles. They overtook the shelves of Babies R Us and everything I had read had recommended these bottles. I received many of these bottles and sippee cups at the shower. Once my son was born, the nipples of the Avent bottles were way too hard, especially since I was also breastfeeding. My son loved his soothie pacifier and when I saw the Soothie bottles at the store, I decided to give them a try. WE LOVE THE SOOTHIE BOTTLES! First of all, there are only two stages for the nipples, 1 and 2 (Avent has 4 and depending on your baby, you may need to buy nipples over and over again). Secondly, the nipples are a lot softer and he really enjoys this. The soft nipples helps him to seal around it better and not suck in air through the sides of his mouth. Also, there is a venting system similar to that of Avent. I am completely impressed with these bottles and recommend them 10 to 1 over Avent. The price alone is worth a try! Although these bottles are not interchangable with sippee cups, they are a lot less expensive and Avent's sippee cups aren't necessarily the nicest looking or appealing to a child. So go ahead! Give them a try! You'll love them!

It's the better alternative to deodorants, well tolerated
Yes, it's good for babies and there's little doubt that J&J expected to be primarily used to treat babies' diaper rashes and to help babies feel fresh and comfortable. It just happens that it's equally good for grownups. Grownups too want to feel fresh and comfortable and Baby Powder can address that need.

I learned the Baby Powder's secret the hard way. Many years ago, I developed a mild allergy - or intolerance - to most perfumes and fragrances. I simply could not use deodorants any longer but I had no problem with Baby Powder came to the rescue. I find the Baby Powder to be as good or better than most deodorants. Used after the morning shower it keeps me fresh for most of the rest of the day and my skin seems to tolerate it quite well even though it is discretely fragrant.

Briefly, I like to use Baby Powder for the following reasons:

- does not irritate my skin
- keeps me feel fresh and clean for many hours
- discrete or no fragrance - does not broadcast its existence to the world
- lasts forever, for as long as it's not exposed to excessive moisture
- it's (relatively) inexpensive - when compared to the deodorant alternatives

To my surprise, I am now able to use the fragrant varieties without adverse reactions. I normally used the unscented variety but I know of family members who would use the aloe or other flavors.

Note: Baby Powder is NOT supposed to be expensive. Look around for the best deals at this site as some offers are better than others.

Not only great for baby , excellent for adults also. Good for heat rash.
I have used this for years on all my kids and grandkids to prevent diaper rash, since Johnson and Johnson started corn starch baby powder. My husband keeps this as staple to use after bathing. Years ago he had severe heat rash and used corn starch,t hen this became avaliable and he now uses it after every bath, and he has not had heat rash since. Plus he smells really nice.

Nice smell with a nice price
I recently ordered this product from amazon the smell is very clean and crisp. Given the fact that I am in the medical field I would reccommend this product. I have yet to use it as I am expecting my first child in Sep. However pure conrstarch is something not only used in gravy but also used for it's absorbing prop. works good as all over powder as well to absorb mostiure. Aloe vera has a soothing prop and is often used on sunburns, vita E is good to help maintain skin appearence. So to sum it all up this product has 3 very valuable props. And only the best should be use on anyone's precious baby

Great bottles once you're used to them
When I first tried these out I had my doubts that they would work out okay (I had been using Avent and have used Dr Brown in the past). They take a little more time to put together than the Avent and babies don't like to wait when they're hungry! However once I got a system down (I put the two vent pieces together and the nipple/collar/cap together in advance and store them in separate bins where I prepare the bottles) I came to really like them. I instantly got less burps than with the Avent and the Dr Brown and they don't leak like the Avent.

They've gone through the drop test onto a hardwood floor just fine and they quickly passed the most important test: my son took to them right away.

One warning: I tried out the "6 month+ Y Flow" nipples but my son vetoed them instantly. I unwisely had bought a number of nipples which (for now) he won't use. I get a little use out them with my two year old who takes the occasional bottle.

Other than that I'm sold - a better bottle than what I had been using (minus a little ramp time getting used to them) and of course they are BPA free.

Finally got her to take a bottle!
After 3 months of trying to get my baby to take a bottle (to no avail), we finally achieved success when we tried the Born Free bottle. Not sure why it worked, but it did and we are very pleased. If you are having trouble getting your breastfed baby to take a bottle, you may want to try this brand. NONE of the others worked for us.

Great safe bottles
I used Avent & Dr. Brown bottles for my first two babies (born in 2003 and 2004). For my third, I decided to go with the Born Free bottles to avoid the potential of BPA in the plastic. True, they are a bit of a pain b/c of the two-piece air valve system to minimize gas but this set up is much easier to clean & put together than Dr. Brown's. These bottles are very similar to Avent but they have never leaked (sometimes with the Avent, I would have to take of the lid, then rescrew it on b/c I would get some leaking). The bottles are dishwasher safe (top rack only) and very easy to maintain. They only cost slightly more than the Avent/Dr. Brown's but that extra $ is worth it to be BPA-free. Also, the nipples are the softest, like Dr. Brown's, which is what I had to use when baby wouldn't take bottles. These were taken with no problem.

Product works
I purchased this product because I have twins and occasionally, they both want to eat at the same time. My baby girl caught on fairly quickly, and she is able to use it when I have to feed her brother.

The bottle sling is easy to use and adjust. Simply follow the instructions. It is important to use it with an infant car seat. Do NOT try to use it with a bouncy seat. Bouncy seats are designed to amplify baby movement, and jiggle the baby. The baby can't keep the bottle in her mouth if she is bouncing. When used with an infant car seat, the product works perfectly. Also, we have the car seats with the triangle handles, and it works fine with them. (If you have this type of car seat, you'll know what I mean). The velcro attachments make it possible to use this device with any kind of car-seat handle.

I don't know how young of a baby one could use this product with. My baby had to be about 4 months before she could use it properly, but every child is different, so perhaps a younger baby might be able to use it. I especially like that she can spit the bottle out if she doesn't want more. I don't use a bottle holder unless I absolutely have to, but this one seems safer than the other models I tried.

Bottle Sling Miracle
I've got twin girls and only 2 hands. The bottle sling is a life saver. I have the monkeys and the girls love to look at the monkey face and tug on the ears when they are eating. It makes a GREAT baby shower gift too!!

Great product!
I purchased this product after a friend of mine with twins told me about it. She said it was a lifesaver and I have to agree. I can go shopping with my baby and have dinner as a family while my daughter takes her bottle. She loves the cute monkey face and is working on taking the bottle in and out of her mouth on her own...my friend's twins were holding their own bottle at 6 months. It fold up neatly and fits right in the diaper bag. I would definitely recommed this product and will be buying more in the future for gifts!

AWESOME!
Having read the other review of this product, I was a little nervous when they arrived. Really cool looking bottles, nice and squishy. I decided to undertake my own testing of said product. I took all three bottles in the pack, and filled them all with water. I then proceeded to try to find a way to make them malfunction in some manner. The only way I could find to do it was to leave the cap loose or cause a thread skip (which inherently left the cap loose), other than that these things are watertight, even the one I caused the skip on holds fluid when properly sealed. One thing I did notice is the silicon portion of the unit extends all the way to the top of the harder ring to create a sealing ring, if that wasn't in the right spot I could see how they could leak at that point, but the bottle has a distorted shape when it's not put together right so if you pay attention, you shouldn't have problems. Highly Recommended!

Loved them, but slightly dissapointing
I was waiting in these bottles to come out and bought them as soon as they did. At first I was very happy with the bottles, they really are great...the ones that work anyway. I don't know why but it seems as though all of the bottles are not made the same. When you try tightening the top on some of them a bump on the nipple prevents it to do so properly and the top will either just keep spinning or pop off and create a total mess when you try to squeeze the air out. Though two bottles out of the 3 pack I received did work properly and you could tighten them as much as you want without a problem, I was still dissapointed due to my problems with the other one. I called Prince Lionheart and they replaced the one which had the problem quickly but the one they sent me did the same thing. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Prince Lionheart bottles....I just wish I could LOVE all of them the same. This flub with some of the bottles is frustrating to say the least. But I still reccomend the bottles that work correctly 5 out 5 stars.
